Here is an example of a photo I retouched with a Lightroom preset:
Step 1. Take a photo and retouch it the way you want it, with the basic retouch:
Step 2. Use Gradient filters and radial filters to complexify the light. You can’t use brushes to create presets. You can play around with the vignette, contrast and all the local adjustments.
Step 3. Click on the + sign in your preset section, create a folder, I name this one BW drama 2 and make sure that everything is selected.
Step 4. Then you can apply this preset on other photo, you can adjust the local adjustments as needed:
Every time you adjust one preset you can create a new one. Presets are only a starting point but it can be really convenient and bring you places you will never go. Here is another example:
